Multi-Way Noiseless Signal Amplification in a Symmetrical Cascaded Four-Wave Mixing Process

According to the fundamental laws of quantum optics, vacuum noise is inevitably added signal when one tries amplify a signal. However, it has been recently shown that noiseless amplification can be realized phase-sensitive process involved. Two schemes, correlation injection scheme and two-beam amplifier scheme, are both proposed realize multi-way in symmetrical cascaded four-wave mixing process. We theoretically study possibility realization four-way by using these two schemes. The results show only one-way amplification, but lead figure values below 1. Our here may find potential applications information processing, e.g., tap non-demolition measurement, etc.
